Peaches compote

The platerina or flat nectarine is a sweet stone fruit with a distinctive, flat shape and smooth skin.
The taste is similar to that of the nectarine, but the platerina is even sweeter.

Preparation:

Wash the fruit, remove the stone and cut into pieces.
Together with the lemon juice, bring to a boil while stirring.
Add sugar.
Cook for 10 minutes while stirring.
Spoon into a glass jug and immediately cover with the lid.
Leave to cool.
You can keep this compote in the refrigerator for a long time.
Delicious in a dessert or on a sandwich.

  • 750 gr peaches
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 or 2 spoons of sugar
